Love

About three weeks ago me and my brother flew over to Italy to watch our eldest cousin get married. It was a very special trip for us, one because me and my brother flew for the first time by our self's and two, because I got to film the wedding. I was so honored by the fact I got to capture this special moment for them and I loved filming everyone's happy faces and all the celebrations.
When I was filming all the speeches, listened to the story about how they met and watched them in the first dance, it really made me see that you can find a person out there that will love you! (Just a heads up...this could get really cheesy hahaa)

I have to admit relationships scare me, but they scare everyone a little bit right? Most people's relationships around me have not worked out, which scares me! I don't want to be hurt and disappointed, no one wants that to happen to them or the people around them. Being in Italy and watching my cousins wedding has really restored my faith in relationships. Seeing how happy they are together really makes me excited to find a person that I could be happy with, I don't think I'm as scared anymore!

Now I'm not going to go around like a crazy lady in a lake fishing for men like no business....no! I'm a big believer in letting things like that work out for them self's, ill find someone when I find someone!

I guess what I'm trying to say in this blog is that if you are like me and tends to get really scared about relationships, then just take a minute and take a look at those old couples walking in the street holding hands, those people who are getting married and those couples in the shop laughing. When you see them, feel inspired by the fact that there is someone for everyone!

Also just to put this out there, I know us single pringles sometimes get that blaa feeling you know the "Nooo one lovessssssss meeeeeeeeeee waaaaaa :(" feeling. Well this really isn't the case is it?! Whilst your waiting for your future lover....because it will happen....you've got other people out there who love you to bits! :D

Okayyy im going to go now!

Ps. How beautiful does my cousin look in this photo?! Loveee them, the most amazing wedding I've ever been too <3 Hahaa
Speak soooooon :)

Life IS sweet

You can get some days in life where you feel like everything is just a bit too much, which sucks! One thing i love about life though is that if you look close enough the small things in life can really make a difference and make your day a hell of a lot better.

Festival season seems to be the time where i really reflect my life, every year since I've been going to festivals afterwards i realize that life IS sweet and there are really nice, funny and cool people in the world!

This year i went to Glastonbury...I've been dreaming about me going to Glastonbury since i was about 12 years old seeing my big cool cousins go always intrigued me and this year my dream of going finally came true.

Everything amazed me, the art everywhere was incredible from the toilet doors to the massive metal spider looking thing in Arcadia. Everyone was up for making friends, strangers loved you and you loved them just by having a little sing-a-long and dance. I tell you, i don't thing I've hugged so many strangers in my life before...it was great!

Its amazing how music can connect people, of course I'm pretty sure the booze helped people loosen up, but even the mud didn't stop us all from having a great time.

Glastonbury is known for its rain and mud, but where there is a spot of sunshine everything just becomes even more special. Watching a sun set in a festival has to be one of my favorite things to see.

Another amazing and new thing I experienced this year was being lifted up on someones shoulders. A girl half my size practically begged me to get on her shoulders because she wanted me to experience seeing what it was like up there, as much as i tried to tell her that i would probably brake her she bent down...so I went for it! I am SO happy I did, I've never seen anything like that before..there was a sea of people being lit by the stages lights, one of the best things I have experienced in my life ever!

The little things in life are actually amazing and seem much bigger and special is what I've learnt this week. Music and friends and the outside world are things that make me so happy!

Goodbye from an extremely happy Emily :)
