Zoe's Birthday and Go-Ape!

Hello again my friendlings!

So on Saturday 17th August was the first day of my buddy Zoe's Birthday Celebrations, and I have to say I was very excited! Every year since Ive meet Zoe Ive been invited to celebrate her birthday round her house with her family and friends for a BBQ and other cool things like playing Rock Band and this year we got to play with a pool table, (which I was not the best at heheee). Zoe's the last of my friends to turn 20 which is quite scary now.....we're all 20! Ahhhh!

The Venn's BBQ as I call it was great..... music, food, games and a massive tent thing, the perfect combination for a birthday get-together I think! For Zoe's birthday this year I got her the Magic summertime CD, I thought id get this for her as I know she loves a bit of Magic on the radio and we always end up singing to all the great tunes, I think she loved it! It was a blooming fun day :)

The day after, Sunday 18th, we went to go-ape! Go ape is a adventure activity where you jump off trees, swing on ropes and slide on zip wires.....all at like 500000000 feet in the air (maybe a bit of an exaggeration!). We all got there and had to wait quite a while to get started which was quite nerve racking because all I could think about was jumping the first post to the net hahaa!

So by the time we played 40/40-in in the wood and went to get food it was practically time to start the monkey like activities. So first the instructor lady told us how to attach our self's to the trees and then it was time to do it all by our self's I have to say though...once you jumped that first net you kinda got yourself all adrenalined up for the next activity. It honestly was the coolest thing to do for your birthday I think and it really makes you concur your fears, Emily recommends! Hahaa

It really has been a lovely couple of days!

 

And the next thing i have to look forward to is READING FESTIVAL!!! WOOO!
